We are looking for a experienced candidate to oversee the financial operations of the company's UK and international offices, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of staff members, providing mentorship and guidance to develop their skills.
• Day-to-day accounting
• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, adhering to UK accounting laws and standards.
• Expertly manage ATOL and ABTA returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, manage payroll processing, tax filings, and financial obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Conduct financial audits and work closely with external auditors to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support company growth and financial health.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and revenue enhancement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with a proven track record in financial management.
• Ideally, at least 2 years of experience in a travel-related financial role.
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting laws, regulations, and reporting standards.
• Proficiency in financial software, particularly Quick Books, and advanced Excel skills is a MUST.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Leadership abilities and experience managing a small team.
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• International finance experience is advantageous given the company's global operations.
