This includes developing system documentation, sizing components, and ensuring compliance with engineering methodologies, quality standards, and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and update system documentation for mechanical and thermo-hydraulic design, operator instructions, safety, and control logic.
  • Define I&C functional requirements, including writing Functional Test Platform (FTP) procedures, logic descriptions, and operating modes.
  • Perform thermal-hydraulic calculations and model components such as pumps, fans, tanks, and pipework.
  • Ensure the consistency of the 3D model with the intended system design and maintain accurate equipment specifications.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to create technical specifications for contracts and oversee supplier documentation.
  • Modification Management:
  • Evaluate modification requests and manage design changes using engineering tools.
  • Develop and propose technical solutions to resolve system issues.
  • Ensure all modifications align with the overall engineering cycle and project standards.
  • System Coordination Support:
  • Create and update component datasheets and P&IDs with design changes for detailed handovers.
  • Actively engage in stakeholder meetings, gate reviews, and other relevant forums to ensure alignment.
  • Promote innovation, best practices, and process improvements within the discipline.
MY PROFILE
Essential:
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in process design, technical specification, and system documentation.
  • Proficiency in managing workloads to produce high-quality documents on time.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication in English.
  • Confidence in engaging with remote teams, including those in France and Germany.
  • Proactive in building positive working relationships and improving quality in engineering outputs.
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of EPR system design principles, I&C architecture, and safety classification.
  • Experience working on operating plants or industrial sites.
  • Ability to write technical documents in French.
