Work Assignment: Fork Lift Driver / Labourer
Rates: Basic: £12.28 OT1: £15.97 OT2: £19.65
Location: Devonport, Plymouth
Contract Type: Full Time (39 hours) Temporary contract to start October 2024 (Expected duration: Four months)

The Opportunity
You will be responsible for supporting the scaffolding division including activities of labour and forklift driving for the restoration of warships, submarines, numerous buildings, temporary weatherproof shelters, or for means of transportation of various items. Primarily, the role will be as a fork lift driver, therefore it is a physically demanding role involving operating plant machinery and transporting equipment around site. There will be an expectation for ad hoc duties as a labourer to facilitate the operational requirements of the naval dockyard and KAEFER’s duties to their client.

This role is subject to Baseline security clearance (BPSS) to enter the naval dockyard and SC clearance to operate duties in isolated area’s of the business.
