*Job Summary*
Are you a freelance horse riding instructor? Would you like to guarantee no teaching outdoors in the wet and the cold? Then look no further!
Sunnybank Equestrian Centre is a friendly, yet professional, Riding School, Livery Yard and Show Centre. We have 2, yes two, Indoor Arenas making those teaching days in the winter a doddle.
We are seeking a qualified riding instructor to join our team on a long-term, freelance basis. You must have your PTT or Stage 2 Teach as a minimum
This is an all day Saturday position on a freelance basis. There is the possibility of additional hours throughout the week. All ponies and horses will be tacked up ready for you and brought into the arena, so no grooming, tacking up, or dragging wet ponies in from the field here!
Our clients range from 5years to adults, beginners to advanced and those doing their stage exams and Challenge Awards.
Our horses and ponies are all well schooled and are regularly ridden by our professional staff. They are often competed by our staff and some of our clients.
The safety and well-being of our horses, clients and staff is our priority, giving our clients the best experience possible in learning to ride and progress safely.
You will develop progression plans for our clients in your lessons with our management team, giving you an opportunity to develop your own skills as well.
*Essential Certifications*
Must hold a:
- PTT/Stage 2 Teach or above
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Enhanced DBS Certificate
The ideal candidate will have the Safeguarding Certificate, however we are prepared to sponsor this.
*Experience*
- Previous experience in teaching in an approved riding school/training centre is essential
- Previous experience in teaching all ages of rider is essential.
