**Receptionist**

**Mission**
The Receptionist reports to the Front Office Manager and is essential in ensuring our guests have the best possible experience from the moment they walk through our doors.
**Responsibilities**
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.
- Handle reservation systems and maintain accurate records of guest information.
- Assist guests with inquiries, providing information about hotel services, local attractions, and directions.
- Ensure that the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest requests are addressed promptly.
- Handle guest complaints or issues with a calm and professional approach, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring each guest feels valued and appreciated.
- Assist in managing room inventory and up-selling where appropriate.
- Prepare and manage billing and payments accurately.
- Build rapport with guests to encourage repeat visits and positive reviews.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to anticipate the needs of guests and respond proactively.
- Proficient in using hotel management software and other office equipment.
- Strong knowledge of local attractions and amenities.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
