Your mission in Eviosys:
We have engineering vacancies within our shift production crews, working on vertical and horizontal can-making power press equipment [cupping presses & bodymakers]. You will be required to maintain the quality standard of production on all machines in your area, whilst ensuring that they are running to their maximum efficiency and minimum spoilage. You will make process and tooling adjustments as necessary whilst monitoring line production, reacting to line stops and recording production data.
You will be required to assist in resolving machine and process problems, deliver planned preventive maintenance and maintain a good standard of machine and plant housekeeping.
You will ideally have completed a Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering apprenticeship or have achieved an Engineering ONC/HNC level qualification or equivalent. You will have proven and demonstrable experience in a relevant production engineering role. Prior experience of working with power presses will be advantageous, along with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and use of hand-held metrology.
You will have an excellent attention to detail, a good team-working ethic, and the desire and drive to achieve production targets and make improvements.

We are seeking applications from self-motivated individuals that possess the drive to work on their own initiative and pride themselves in making a difference. Successful candidates will be working a continental shift rota of 2 x 12 hour days, followed by 2 x 12 hour nights, then 4 days off. The salary will be from £44,229 to £53,820 dependant on Mechanical Engineering Qualifications, skills and relevant production/engineering experience (includes Shift Allowance), 9% Company Pension contribution, Cash Health Plan, 25 days of holiday plus Bank Holidays (for employees working shifts this is mainly contained in the shift pattern) as well as on-site parking, a site annual bonus scheme and subsidised restaurant.
