A warm family based in Belsize Park, NW3, is looking for a full-time nanny who speaks fluent French or German to care for their two children, aged 3 years and 5 months. The position is Monday to Friday, with a total of 40 hours per week. The schedule can vary, with some days starting earlier and finishing earlier in the afternoon, or vice versa, but it will always be based on 40 hours per week.
Job Details:

• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
• Salary: £16 to £17 net per hour, depending on experience (around £900 gross per week)
• Flexibility with working hours (mornings or afternoons)
• Must be available to travel with the family (required)

Main Responsibilities:

• Caring for two children (3 years and 5 months)
• Planning and organising age-appropriate activities (educational games, outdoor walks, etc.)
• Preparing meals and snacks for the children
• Managing daily care: nappy changes, meals, naps
• Taking the eldest child to activities or nursery, if needed
• Creating a safe and stimulating environment for the children
• Following the daily routines set by the parents

Candidate Requirements:

• Native or fluent in French or German
• Proven experience as a nanny, ideally with babies and young children
• Comfortable with pets, as the family has a cat
• Must be available to travel with the family

Other Important Information: The family does not eat pork or shellfish. While the nanny is not expected to cook for the family, it’s important to respect these dietary restrictions.
