Join Our Team at Speed, Welshpool as an HGV Class 1 - NIght Truck Driver!
Speed is seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Night Trunk Driver to join our team, based out of our Welshpool depot. This role offers competitive pay with no nights out or tramping required. As a vital part of our logistics operation, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods between our depots and sortation hubs.
Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate articulated lorries and double-deck curtain sider trailers as part of our modern fleet.
• Strapping and securing loads to ensure safe transit.
• Conducting daily vehicle and trailer inspections in line with regulations.
• Completing required paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Liaising with colleagues and hub staff to ensure loads and deliveries are managed appropriately.
• Maintaining compliance with tachograph regulations using digital tachographs.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) license.
• DCPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) and a digital tachograph card.
• Experience with double-deck curtain siders is beneficial but not essential.
• ADR (Carriage of Dangerous Goods) certification is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism while on the road.
