HGV Class 2 Driver - National Sameday (Luton based - Days)

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a commercial HGV to transport goods and materials to designated locations across the UK.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement for safe transit.
• Plan efficient routes and adhere to delivery schedules.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and carry out basic maintenance tasks.
• Comply with all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence (Category C) with a clean driving record.
• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Proven experience as an HGV driver or in a similar role.
• Ability to drive long distances and work flexible hours.
• Excellent time management, communication, and customer service skills.
• Commitment to safety and following procedures.

Please note: As National Sameday is a CAA regulated company, successful candidates must be willing to undergo:

• A driver assessment.
• A Criminal Records Check (CRC).
• Full 5-year history & reference checks.
