The HICA Group has a new opportunity for dedicated and focused individual to join our housekeeping team at Prospect House based in Goole on a casual basis!

Pay & Hours:

• £11.50 per hour
• 30 hours per week (5 x 6 hrs shifts)
• Working to a rota covering 7 days per week (every other weekend)

The Role:

• Promote and encourage residents’ privacy and personal space using a person-centred approach.
• Using the equipment and products provided, take responsibility to ensure levels of cleanliness are maintained to the highest standards and all practical measures are taken to minimise the risk of infection. This includes general cleanliness of the service and dealing with incidents involving bodily fluids etc.
• Ensure the correct use of cleaning chemicals when required, and that they are stored safely and securely in locked cupboards after use.
• Correct use and maintenance of cleaning equipment.

About you:

• Knowledge and understanding of COSHH
• Ability to work unsupervised and to use own initiative
• Knowledge of customer care
• Effective interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
