Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, ensuring that all areas are hygienic and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a comfortable environment for guests and residents alike. A background in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
• Ensure that all rooms and common areas are well-maintained and presentable at all times.
• Manage laundry services.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and kitchen essentials as needed.
• Respond promptly to requests and maintain a high level of customer service.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Be willing to travel in and around Gloucestershire.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is an advantage.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills.
• Competent at using a mobile phone and mobile apps linked for work use.
