THE ROLE
As a Housekeeping Porter you will be responsible for maintaining the housekeeping storages and ensuring they are adequately stocked with guest supplies and linen. Additionally, you will attend to guest requests and handle bed configuration requests.
Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:

• Monitoring and tracking the daily usage of linen within the hotel
• Recording used linen to be sent out for laundry and ensuring correct amounts of linen are returned to the hotel
• Laundering team uniforms, ensuring they are clean correctly organised for the beginning of each shift
• Make certain all guest laundry is collected and returned on time
• Responsible for the cleaning routine and daily checks of all laundry machines equipment

• Highly organised with great attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• An understanding of what it takes to provide outstanding levels of guest service and an eye for detail
