Industrial Sewing Machinist
£25,064 per annum/ £12.05 per hour
Aeroco Group is a leading commercial Aircraft Component Repair Station based in Stockport. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for industrial sewing machinists to strengthen our team and to support the growth of our business.
You should preferably have previous experience of producing and repairing a wide range of textile products using an industrial twin needle and overlocking sewing machines.
The role involves high repetition work requiring a consistent high quality output.
You will be able to change machine settings to achieve the correct sewing pitch as directed.
Responsible for checking that finished work matches patterns/sample and is of a high quality.
Basic machine maintenance is required – cleaning, oiling machines, changing needles and thread.
Previous experience working in the aviation or automotive industry manufacturing curtains, seat covers and similar items would be advantageous.
