Clinical DPO provides a range of Data Protection services including an outsourced Data Protection Officer Service to businesses in the UK, Europe and the USA.
Offering guidance and organisational support to help companies meet their legislative requirements, we provide support with data protection incidents and ongoing support and expertise to ensure data protection compliance.
As a growing business, we are looking to add a new member to our team. This role would be particular suitable for a graduate level individual who is looking for an opportunity to develop a career in data protection.
Whilst some experience in data protection/compliance is beneficial, we are keen to invest in the right candidate.
Job description
You will work with our Help Desk and Project team with a range of responsibilities including:
An internal induction training program will be followed by external training courses to achieve professional certification.
Preferred Qualities / Experience
· Degree level studies (preferably Law or with some Data Protection content)
· Experience in privacy / data protection (preferably Data Protection Practitioner certification or above)
· Good attention to detail with strong writing and proofreading skills
· Ability to work in a small team and independently as required
· Ability to handle confidential information
· Understanding of IT security
This is a full-time, permanent position, to be based at our Harrogate office. Office hours are 8.45am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Salary: £25-32,000.00 per year depending on experience.

- Supporting clients in the creation and management of data protection related processes, policies and procedures.
- Supporting clients with Data Subject Access Requests, Data Breaches, Risk Assessments, Data Protection impact assessments and other Data Protection activities.
- Providing guidance to clients on data protection requirements and controls.
- Conducting client project reviews
- Supporting clients in achieving industry specific standards
- Updating clients on changes to data protection legislation.
