Your Career Plan
Step One – Paraplanner
0 – 6 months – Junior Broker £23K (£30k OTE)
Step Two - Trainee Protection Advisor
6 – 18 months – Trainee Protection Adviser £23K (up to £30 OTE)
Step Three - Senior Protection Advisor
24 months – Senior Protection Adviser - £25K (up to £50K OTE)
Process
The first step in your career path will be as a Paraplanner. You will be the first point of contact, dealing with purely inbound leads of potential customers who are interested in our protection products. Your role as a paraplanner would be to educate our potential clients on our processes and complete a fact find relating to the clients’ financial and medical circumstances. You will use the knowledge you have gained from our extensive training programme to assist our Senior Brokers with the information they need to give sound advice.
After approx. 6 months in the paraplanner role, providing pre-set targets are hit and you have mastered the basics, you will then have an opportunity to be considered to move on to become a Trainee Senior Broker. During your time in this role, you will be given extensive training on all protection products and be expected to retain this information whilst again assisting our Senior Broker team with the information they need.
Our Senior Brokers speak to potential customers to really understand their needs and advise on which of our products best meets their requirements. They also follow up on outstanding quotes and manage the on-boarding process. This is a fast-paced role dealing with both individual and team targets.
After 12 months as a Trainee Senior Broker, you will then have the opportunity to become a qualified Protection Adviser. Again, this will give you the opportunity to gain more knowledge and confidence as you move into the role of a fully advised protection agent.
You will have the opportunity to make a difference to people’s lives, offering comprehensive and award-winning protection products from the whole of the insurance market.
It is certainly worth noting that whilst you are achieving/exceeding targets, every role comes with a competitive commission structure to keep you motivated.
