Position: Newly Qualified Roofer / Solar Panel Installer

About the Role:
As a Solar Panel Installer with roofing experience, you’ll play a key role in the safe and efficient installation of solar PV systems on a variety of properties. This role is perfect for a motivated individual who’s ready to learn and grow in a fast-evolving industry. You’ll receive support and training to hone your skills, while working on cutting-edge renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• Install solar PV systems, including mounting solar panels on rooftops or ground-mounted installations
• Measure, cut, and assemble the mounting system to ensure secure and accurate placement of panels
• Assist with wiring and connecting solar panels as part of the installation process
• Safely work at heights, adhering to all safety protocols and using protective equipment
• Coordinate with electricians and other contractors as needed to complete installations
• Fix broken roofing tiles, set ridges, and perform general roofing repairs when required
• Maintain tools, materials, and equipment in good condition
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining system operations to clients post-installation
• Keep project timelines on track and communicate progress with the team

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
