Job Title: Kitchen Assistant
Location: Framlingham, Suffolk
Pay rate: £14.00 Per Hour
Job Description:

Duties:

• Assisting Chefs in making high quality nutritious meals
• Day to day kitchen tasks
• Washing up dishes and cooking utensiles
• Providing high quality support to chefs
• Understanding Health and Safety within a kitchen environment
• Ensure the kitchen and serving areas are clean and hygienic and maintain a high standard of infection control and adhere to the Food Standards Act 1999

Required/Preferred Skills

• Kitchen or catering experience
• Relevant catering qualifications including NVQ, and Food Safety certificate
• Excellent attendance and reliability
• Working on own initiative and within a team
• Good levels of communication
• Knowledge of food hygiene practices
• Knowledge of health and safety practices with the kitchen environment
• Must be able to drive
• Enhanced DBS needed
