Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a motivated individual that wants to learn and progress within our team, as we will offer a training and career plan to progress. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our culinary team in meal preparation, service, maintaining a high degree cleanlinness in the kitchen, adhereing to food safety standards and providing the highest possible quality for our customers. Duties:
- Assist with food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency in food quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Assist with receiving and storing food supplies
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation
- Support the team during service as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment is required
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices and procedures
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
