Position: Kitchen Porter
Responsibilities:

• Dishwashing: Operate commercial dishwashers to ensure timely cleaning and sanitation of kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment.
• Cleaning and Sanitizing: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Assistance: Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables and preparing ingredients.
• Waste Management: Dispose of kitchen waste properly, including recycling and ensuring compliance with waste disposal regulations.
• Stock Management: Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies, rotating stock, and keeping inventory organized.
• Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry kitchen equipment, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability: Flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
