Linacre College is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lodge Porter to join our Lodge team. You will play a vital role supporting the smooth daily operations of the College by managing post distribution, handling phone calls, student enquiries, and general administration tasks. As the first point of contact for visitors, you will ensure the efficient reception of various guests, from students to public visitors, and manage security and safety protocols effectively. About You:
You will have experience in working in a reception, front of house, or a similar role together with strong IT skills with a willingness to learn new systems. You will have the ability to remain composed under pressure handling challenging situations diplomatically, and resolve complaints effectively. Professional demeanour, with sensitivity to diverse cultures and backgrounds as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
What We Offer:
Competitive pay of £28, 974.40 (approximately £13.93 per hour) with an Oxford
weighting of £1500 per annum starting from the 1 November 2024.
Membership eligibility in the Oxford University Pension Scheme (OSPS).
