The Peterborough School (TPS) is an Independent Day School delivering exceptional education and nurturing children from Nursery through to Sixth Form. We are now seeking to recruit a highly effective Lunchtime Supervisor to join our successful team. The appointed person will help to supervise the School’s pupils in both the Preparatory and Senior School. A caring disposition is essential as is enthusiasm, reliability and a genuine affinity for working with children.

• Supervise pupils during their lunch break
• Ensure good order is maintained as per the School’s Behaviour Policy
• Engage with the pupils to promote good behaviour
• Act as a role model through your conduct and actions
• Build a strong, professional relationship with pupils and staff
• Liaise with the Senior Leadership Team and teaching staff as necessary
• Ensure that there is a safe environment for children to play in
• Comply with all school policies
• Complete any paperwork relating to accidents and incidents
• Be aware of the School ‘s first aid procedures as per the Staff Handbook and apply them to the children
• Report defects to Estates Department
