  • Build and manage relationships with external stakeholders to establish a comprehensive understanding of the relevant investment, business and regulatory landscape.

  • Advise on and support governance oversight of ESG-related regulatory activities or RI activities in the region.
  • Lead, collaborate, and/or support the development of disclosures related to regulatory requirements and RI activities.
  • Work with colleagues across RBC GAM globally to share knowledge, experience, and best practices.

Guide engagement on regulatory or regional issues, and collaborate with like-minded investors
  • Develop and guide RI Team response to ESG-related regulatory consultations and developments in the region. This may include advising on thematic issues such as climate change, nature, biodiversity, human rights or others.
  • Collaborate and support consultations, submissions and approvals on responses to public consultations, where needed.
  • Support RI Team and regional teams by flagging developments in market standards, voluntary initiatives and ESG requirements that may affect investments, products or clients.
  • Lead or participate in various working groups or industry initiatives, as needed.
