If you have an interest in working in the mental health sector and making a positive difference, we have a fantastic opportunity to join us as a Mental Health Support Worker.
Car owners/drivers are essential.
Based in our specialist discharge service, you will be working with our multi-disciplinary team to support individuals in their first six weeks post-discharge – you will also be working alongside vulnerable clients to avoid hospital re-admission where possible.
This Mental Health Support Worker role is incredibly fast-paced so you must be flexible and adaptable, able to think on your feet and react well to change.
The Mental Health Support Worker role will be a full-time 40-hour per week contract, covering the West Sussex Region. Travel is paid excluding the commute.
Essential Skills:

• Previous experience in supporting vulnerable adults/children
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently as part of a field based team
• Flexible and adaptable to change

Desired Skills:

• Experience in creating/writing care plans and risk assessments would be advantageous.
