Medlicott Motors is looking for a skilled and reliable Full-Time Mechanic to join our busy and growing team. As a Mechanic at Medlicott Motors, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring the highest level of service for our customers. Responsibilities:

• Conduct vehicle diagnostics and identify mechanical faults.
• Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other components.
• Carry out routine maintenance, including oil changes, tyre replacements, and general vehicle servicing.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
• Keep detailed records of all work carried out and parts used.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and advising on vehicle care.
• Ensure the workshop is clean, organised, and complies with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a mechanic, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive mechanics (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred).
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Schedule:
Full-Time: 42.5 hours per week.
Over-Time available.
Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts.
