We are currently looking for Night Cleaner to join us and be a part of the SCHLOSS Roxburghe Housekeeping team!
This part-time position is based on a 30 hour working a week, 3 days on and 4 days off, shift hours are 9pm to 7.30am. Availability to work nights, evenings and weekends is essential.
The position offers a competitive salary of £12.00 per hour plus gratuities* and excellent employee benefits.
*Gratuities (tips) are an additional charge added onto services and are paid to all employees on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role. The amount is not guaranteed and is depended on service charge paid.
As a SCHLOSS Roxburghe Housekeeper you will be responsible for cleaning of the guest public areas according to the hotel's luxury standards.
Your Key Responsibilities:

• To will consistently ensure that all rooms and public areas are cleaned, prepared and presented to the luxury standards set out by SCHLOSS Roxburghe to ensure the best quality for our guests
• You will ensure that the furniture, equipment and appliances are in clean and flawless condition, well maintained
• You will interact with all guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner, looking to exceed their expectations
• You will bring your experience to identify and contribute innovative and practical ways to improve the overall quality and process within the department
• To report any faults or broken items to Housekeeping management
• You will ensure that all compliance, COSHH, and Health & Safety procedures are followed
• Ensure that all procedures concerning guest safety are followed including but not limited to; lost property, key control and confidentiality
• You will take pride in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of all guest areas
• You will service guest public areas ensuring correct use of equipment, cleaning materials and guidelines
• You will assist the Housekeeping Management in maintaining hotel standards.

Proven Experience/Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
• Ability to communicate proficiently in English
