An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Fashion Consultant / Optical Advisor to join our team here at Chase Eyecare.

We are looking for somebody who is enthusiastic, who wants to make a difference to patients’ lives and who has a passion for optometry as well as a good eye for style, will help you deliver exceptional customer service.
We are a small family practice with over 100 years’ service to the local Community. Families and patients are important to us here at Chase Eyecare.
Key Responsibilities:
· We are looking for a well presented friendly person with strong communication skills. They must be able to dispense and manage a reception.
· Delivering excellent customer service and demonstrating a high degree of professionalism with an ability to interact with a diverse range of patients.
· Ensure in-practice display is fresh, clean and products are secured according to Company guidelines
· Accurately operate the till system and account for all transactions
· Attention to detail; reviewing prescriptions and identifying individual needs, consulting with your colleagues when necessary
· Assist with contact lenses & dispensing glasses
· Perform core administrative duties competently
· Computer savvy including the literacy and numeracy skills required of this position
· Achieve high levels of sales performance and results
· Perform work accurately, thoroughly & meticulously
Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Have a minimum of 1 years' experience in Optics – (Please do not apply if you do not have the relevant experience required for the role)
• Right to work in the United Kingdom

· Greeting patient, answering phones, maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments.
· Serving patients with different needs
· Assisting patients picking out the best frame to suit their face shape
· Excellent customer service skills and a high degree of professionalism
· Have the ability to work both as an individual and as part of a team
· Reliable and must be able to multitask
· Confident to dispense at all levels
· Strong communication & listening skills
· Ability to use own initiative and actively participate in, and encourage good team work
· A can do attitude and an interest in developing existing, and learning new skills
· Thorough product and services knowledge
Key Duties

• Greeting patients, answering phones, maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments
• Part-time role between Monday-Saturday
• Working hours between Monday – Saturday between the hours of 9am-5:30pm
• Working at our Cannock practice.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £19,500.00-£21,500.00 per year
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
