Working on own initiative and as part of a team, your main duties will include,
Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Masking and prepping components using Dual Actions sanders
• Removing any excess weld spatter with scrapers and sandpaper
• Deburring/preparing components.
• Communicating with the Department's Team Leader to understand clear production plans so that objectives can be met.
• Ensuring the preparations of components/parts are completed in accordance to standards within specifications provided
• Undertaking training and development set by the Team Leader & Management
• Supporting cost reduction initiatives by introducing new ideas or removing waste and non-value-added time or operations to increase profitability whilst maintaining compliance.
• Ensure compliance to all general site Rules, Regulations, Policies & Procedures.
• Any other duties as required by management to suit business needs.
• Adherence to our ISO 9001 Quality management system.
• Adherence to company health and safety procedures.
