Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team and support the Musical Theatre, Drama and Film & TV Teachers helping and developing students aged 7-11 years. This role involves assisting teachers in each session and providing additional help to students who require it.
Duties
- Support teachers in delivering lessons and activities
- Assist students with their learning, including those with special educational needs
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers reporting when students need additional help
Skills
- Passion for Musical Theatre, Drama, Film & Tv
- Ability to communicate effectively with students
- Experience working with children and special educational needs
- Strong mentoring and tutoring skills
- Patience and empathy when working with students
- A passion for supporting the growth of young people
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:

• Loughborough, LE11 2AE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

• A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Education or working within Musical Theatre, Drama or Film: 1 year (preferred)
• Performing Arts Assistant teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Work authorisation:

• United Kingdom (preferred)
