The join our team at Righton Blackburns Norwich. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver/Warehouse Operative.
You will be required to make local deliveries and will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our products. You will play an important role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional customer service.
As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for picking and packing material, loading and unloading vehicles and operating relevant machinery.
Role is Monday to Friday, 20-25hrs per week. Full product training and support provided.
Responsibilities
Driver

• Deliver products to customers on assigned routes.
• Load and unload products efficiently and safely using forklifts and other equipment needed.
• Ensure load is safe and secure at all times whilst managing appropriate orders for drops.
• Keep all delivery records up to date.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and traffic laws.
• Act as a representative of RB at all times ensuring we meet customer requirements.
• Continually maintain a safe working environment in all aspects of the role.

Warehouse

• Process, package and load orders accurately and safely.
• Load vehicles in a safe and efficient way, complying with vehicle regulations.
• Organise stock efficiently.
• Inspect products for defects and damages.
• Receive, unload and place incoming material appropriately.
• Check, verify and fill customer invoices.
• Operate warehouse machinery when required.
• Abide by Company Health and Safety Policy and Safe Working Practices.
• Keep warehouse clean and organised daily.
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimise warehousing procedures.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• HGV Class 1 license
• Warehouse experience
• Team player with organisational skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently
• Reliable and dependable
• Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
• Plan and navigate various routes in a timely and cost-efficient manner, whilst maintaining compliance with road laws
• Literacy and numeracy skills
