We are looking for enthusiastic Personal Advisors to join our team to support care leavers to achieve high aspirations and ambitious lives. If you are driven, flexible in your approach and experienced in working with challenging young people on a 1:1 basis, face to face in the community; this is the role for you. You’ll be joining a strong, experienced team who are passionate about improving the outcomes for care experienced young people. The Next Step Team provides a statutory service for care experienced young people aged between 16-25 who have been or are looked after by Carmarthenshire County Council. The role involves engaging, transporting, and supporting young people towards independence.

DBS level:
An Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job. It is an offence to apply for the role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children or adults at risk
Welsh language level - Verbal:
Level 3 - You will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level
