Responsibilities:
- Experience working with a pig breeding herd
- Wages are dependant on experience and may exceed maximum quoted
- Ability to work with breeding sows on a unit with 5 week weaning system
- A possibility to potentially take on the role as assistant manager with responsibility for the unit
Requirements:
- Experience with breeding pigs and must be reliable
- Excellent attention to detail
- Basic computer skills would be useful but not essential
- Administrative skills, such as record keeping and data entry can be taught on site
- The ability to work well with a small team
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Alternate weekend working
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
