Overview
Potwash is an essential role within the kitchen as food safety and hygiene is paramount. Without this role a kitchen cannot run smoothly and effectively. This is not a “bottom of the food chain” job, its a well respected position that requires graft and attention to detail.
Duties
- Clean and wash all kitchen pots, pans, utensils.
- Clean down after each service.
- Ensure chefs are supported during service by removing dirty kitchenware.
- Assist in maintaining kitchen items in their place for ease of use.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adherence to hygiene regulations at all times.
Experience
- Non required. However, must be able to work at fast pace.
