Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team at a nursery in providing high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and creating a nurturing learning environment.
Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's development
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and play
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a structured daily routine
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and well-being
- Demonstrate leadership skills in guiding and supervising children
- Utilise early childhood education principles to support children's learning and growth
Experience
- Previous experience working in childcare or nursery settings
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to drive is desirable
- Experience managing and engaging with young children
- Qualifications in Early Childhood Education would be advantageous
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £11.44-£12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Early childhood education: 1 year (required)
• Childcare Educator: 1 year (preferred)
