As a Product Owner – Payments you will be a part of the Banking Practice where we Partner with large global & regional banks to accelerate value through domain led levers in their business & IT transformation journey while keeping pace with a dynamic external environment & fast paced digital innovation. Leading practices include - Digital Channels & Touchpoints, Payments, Cards, Consumer Lending & Mortgages, Retail Banking, Corporate/Commercial Banking.
Purpose of the Role:
- The role will have a primary focus on delivering a multiyear program for migrating payment flows from legacy application to new age core banking product Finacle.
As the Product Owner - Payments you will:
- Work with the product team lead on implementations, drive communications across the spectrum including senior stakeholder engagements for elevated discussions and decision making
- Work with architecture/design to identify technology capabilities needed to meet the requirements
- Work with business partners to identify process impacts if any to meet requirements
- Work with business partners and design teams to add/refine requirements and priority in line with system or process capabilities/cost and timelines
- Identify and raise risk/additional changes to business stakeholders and work with business partners and architecture/design to add or amend requirements as appropriate to address the risk
- Capture expected target end to end behaviour as stories, with use cases (where appropriate)
- Support project PI planning
- Work with design and application scrum teams in the release train to review the application stories/user stories to align with end to end stories
- Support backlog refinement/sprint planning/user story review/test plan review/defect triage and change request generation for additional or changed requirements
- Generate low level design stories with supporting use cases and field level mapping, business rules/logic.
- Manage user queries during feature implementation and ensure that they are tracked and closed
- Participate in system design, SIT, and UAT to ensure that solutions are being delivered and tested as per requirements
- Ensure knowledge sharing and training on new product features
- Recommend and implement data migration and integration strategies
- Provide ongoing techno-functional expertise to ensure project stability post go-live
- Payments, SAFe Agile, ISO 20022 MX messages, SWIFT messages
- Thorough E2E business flows knowledge
- Implementation experience in payment schemes CHAPS, SEPA, Target 2, Low Value Payments
- Real Time/Faster Payments, Bulk Payments (File based payments)
- Cross Border Transactions
