Modus Careers is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Haverhill, Suffolk. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to join their established team and lead the manufacturing process across multiple departments.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a market leader that boasts a strong, consistent order book year on year. Our client has a solid production process in place, but they are looking for an exceptional manager to drive further efficiency and success by motivating and developing their team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire production process, overseeing multiple departments, including machinery operations, hand assembly, and dispatch.
• Lead a team of 3 direct reports and circa 60 indirect reports, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment, getting the best out of your team through strong leadership, motivation, and mentorship.
• Oversee production schedules and meet delivery targets, ensuring quality standards are maintained across all departments.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior management and other departments to align production output with company objectives and customer demand.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all production areas.

• Proven background in manufacturing, ideally in a managerial role.

• Strong understanding of production processes and the ability to manage multiple departments effectively.
