Role: Project Leader
Location: Hounslow
Main purposes of the job
Develop and manage a service for local women in Hounslow to enable them to learn about harmful practices and develop their self-confidence to make independent personal decisions, as a member of the True Honour Team.
Key tasks
1. Manage regular coffee mornings, activities, and programs of learning opportunities, developing a network of community contacts.
2. Assist with recruiting, training, supporting, and supervising volunteers and developing victim support workers.
3. Encourage and support service users. Refer cases of harmful practices to the CEO.
4. Record statistics, monitoring, evaluation, and other records for the Project.
Key results/objectives
1. To develop a successful social and learning group of local women (service users) at the heart of the community.
2. To develop a team of volunteers supporting service users.
3. By collecting and recording information, evaluation, and other records where True Honour can monitor the project and produce an impact report.
Responsible for staff/equipment
All volunteers supporting the Project.
All equipment allocated for the use of the Project, its staff, and volunteers.

Essential
· Knowledge and understanding of the culture(s) in which the harmful practices of honour-based abuse and violence, forced marriage, female genital mutilation, and modern slavery are acceptable.
· Good interpersonal skills
· Excellent communicator
· Good group leadership skills
· Team player
· Aptitude for problem-solving
· Good standard of general education
· Able to work without direct supervision
· IT skills
Desirable
Experience of Word and Excel
Any South Asian language
Mental health awareness
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
