Job brief
We are looking for a results driven Shop Cover Manager for our small, but busy Leicester Store.
The successful candidate will be required to work independently serving customers on our trade counter, and deliver an excellent service. The candidate will be a results driven individual and be responsible for maintaining the store. The candidate will also support our production department when they are not required to cover the shop.
Working days will Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday on a permanent contract.
Responsibilities

• Meet sales goals through delivering an excellent service experience, including; custom creation and matching of paint products, upselling and cross selling, explaining features and benefits, advising on the correct use of products.

NB. Full training will be provided.

• Complete store administration duties and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Be fully responsible for the security of stock and cash.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Report on buying trends, customer requests, and sales figures to the Management Team.
• Actively propose innovative ideas to increase sales.
• Deal with all issues that arise from customers in a timely professional manner.
• Our Shop Manager will be a shining example of great behaviour and high performance.

Requirements

• Proven successful experience in a sales environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and business orientation.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £11.50-£20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
