Join an ethical and award-winning employee owned outdoor clothing brand as London Retail Sales Manager.
The Role
· This role will be based at our Páramo brand store in London, working 5 days a week on a Monday-Saturday rota, managing the store
· You will be responsible for optimising the profitability, efficiency and sales growth of the store and ensuring the smooth running and visual display is maintained and enhanced.
You Will
· Manage and oversee the successful running of the Páramo brand store, analysing store performance and reporting when necessary
· Provide clear and effective leadership to the store team
· Assist with the implementation of the Brand Store sales and marketing strategy
· Oversee all shop processes and ensure that they are kept up to date, where necessary
· Investigate and feedback to UK Brand Stores Manager potential new sales avenues for the store and implement as agreed within sales strategy
· Be responsible for recruitment for Brand Store team members as required for the business, subject to budgets and necessary approvals
· Ensure that all relevant direct-to-consumer sales schemes and processes to support them are effectively operated and managed in store
· Assist with technical sales and customer service queries via email, phone, and in store.
The successful applicant must be able to work Saturdays on a rota basis.
You Will Be
· Outdoor market aware, with a strong drive to achieve
· Customer focussed
· Experienced in managing people; including motivating and coordinating
· Able to manage performance and delegate effectively
· Proactive with a keen eye for detail
· Experienced in retail sales with some visual merchandising knowledge
· Educated with at least two A levels (or equivalent) with GCSE English language and Maths (or equivalent).
