Overview
Regency Park Hotel Thatcham are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent service in the hotel environment.
Duties

• Clean and maintain guest rooms according to established standards, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces.
• Change bed linens and towels, ensuring that all items are fresh and well-presented.
• Restock room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and tea amenities.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
• Ensure public areas are kept clean and tidy throughout the shift.
• Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.

Skills

• Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow cleaning protocols effectively.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability
