Who are we looking for?
Dedicated, knowledgeable and a strong mentor, our ideal Baby Room Leader has a make it happen attitude. They will be the driver behind ensuring the children are nurtured and provided with a stimulating programme of activities to enhance and encourage their curiosity and early development.
Main Duties include but are not limited to:
To work in collaboration with the management team creating an inclusive and positive environment where staff, children and parents can thrive.
Support Nursery Manager in implementation of Under Two's curriculum ensuring compliance to the EYFS Statutory Framework and Ofsted requirements
Drive high standards for parent experience and education offering
Ensure all company policies and procedures are correctly followed in the nursery and adhered to at all times
To carry out high quality observations, planning and assessments using Birth to Five and the EYFS
To work in partnership with parents, and ensure that other staff foster and develop good relationships, and actively involve them in all aspects of their children’s care and learning both within the setting and at home
Motivate the team to work together, role modelling and inspiring educators to deliver best practice
Promote our values and role model them, ensuring they are lived every day and course correcting if not
Ensure that the safety and welfare of children is paramount
Risk assess daily ensuring that the team understand what is expected of them to keep children safe
Work on a shift pattern within the nursery's opening hours (7.30am-6.30pm) with the ability to attend out of hours meetings and events as required
Essential Experience & Skills Required:
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

- CACHE / NNEB/ NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience
- Minimum 1 years’ leadership experience
- Recent experience of working with children aged 0 to 5 years.
