The Role
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Executive to join our dynamic foodservice sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the field sales team, nurturing leads, and developing relationships with clients in the foodservice sector. This position plays a crucial role in expanding our customer base and driving sales growth.

The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and proposals.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients in the foodservice industry.
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through research and networking.
- Help prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients, showcasing our products and services.
- Track and report on sales metrics, providing insights for not only the sales team but also for purchasing and logistics.
- Attend industry events to promote our brand and network with potential clients
- Prepare and collate all relevant information for incoming tenders.
- Stay knowledgeable about industry trends , competitors, and market conditions.
- Ensuring existing and new customer have an additional point of contact.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Proven experience in a sales development role, or customer services, preferably from a foodservice/ wholesale background.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A self-motivated and results oriented mindset, with a passion for food and customer experience.
