Sales Development Representative

We are looking for a dedicated Sales Development Representative to join our team in Reading, United Kingdom.
What are we looking for?
As an SDR you will be responsible for identifying and driving sales opportunities across both new and existing accounts. Using online tools and CRM systems, you will research and engage with key decision-makers, building relationships, and generating a healthy sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and passionate about driving growth, with a focus on the UK market.
Responsibilities:
  • Prospect Engagement: Actively reach out to potential customers via calls, emails, and social channels to qualify leads and convert them into opportunities.
  • Account Research: Conduct thorough research on accounts, identifying key stakeholders, generating interest, and uncovering new opportunities.
  • Opportunity Management: Distribute qualified opportunities to Account Executives (AE), providing them with the necessary background to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong, trusted relationships with prospects, positioning yourself as a reliable resource for their needs.
  • Objection Handling: Manage and overcome prospect objections effectively, keeping the sales pipeline moving forward.
  • Lead Management: Update lead scores and maintain accurate records of all interactions within CRM (Salesforce) for efficient lead tracking.
  • Quota Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets for generating qualified leads and contributing to revenue objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to the team to optimise processes and strategies continually.

  • Pre-Call Planning & Call Management: Strong skills in planning for productive prospect interactions, with the ability to structure and control calls effectively.
  • Opportunity Qualification & Objection Handling: Expertise in identifying qualified leads and managing objections confidently.
  • Time Management: Excellent time and territory management to maximise productivity and efficiency.
  • Sales Achievement: Demonstrated success in achieving measurable sales development goals in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accurate data entry in CRM systems.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, high-energy sales environment.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional phone and email communication skills, with strong listening and writing abilities.
  • Integrity: Uphold the highest level of integrity in all interactions with customers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as an SDR or cold calling.
  • Experience with prospecting tools such as Linked In.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
