We are seeking a skilled Seamstress to join our team in creating high-quality garments. The ideal candidate will have experience in sewing and be able to meet tight deadlines and effectively manage priorities to maximise efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform alterations and repairs on customer garments, including hemming, mending, adjusting seams, and lengthening or shortening pieces as needed.
• Maintain and ensure sewing machines and related equipment are in optimal condition.
• Assemble garments and record any alterations required.
• Operate irons and pressing machines to smooth out wrinkles and ensure garments meet high standards.
• Adhere to all guidelines, procedures, and objectives as set forth by management.
• Promptly report any issues, such as complaints, accidents, equipment malfunctions, or potential safety hazards, to the supervisor or duty manager.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
You will bring the following skills and expertise:

• Prior experience in tailoring or working as a seamstress.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in working with various fabrics, including luxury and delicate materials.
• A strong track record in maintaining safety and legal compliance is essential.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of craftsmanship.
