Are you a passionate physiotherapist looking for flexibility and a supportive environment? At Compete Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Ltd, a family-run clinic, we’re excited to welcome a friendly, motivated physio to join us on a self-employed basis. Our clinic is located in the lovely village of Burton in Kendal, just a stone’s throw from the stunning Lake District!
A Bit About Us:
We provide specialist physiotherapy services to the South Lakes and Lancaster communities. Here’s what we offer our clients:
- Musculoskeletal physiotherapy
- Sports massage
- Runfit assessments
- Dynamic gait assessments and custom insole creation
- Injection therapy
- Joint injections, including Hyaluronic Acid
Our team is all about personalized care and helping clients achieve their goals in a warm, welcoming environment.
The Role:
This is a self-employed position, meaning you'll have the flexibility to work hours that suit your lifestyle, and your income will be based on a percentage of client fees. Since this isn't a salaried position, unfortunately, we can’t offer sponsorship for overseas applicants.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 years of private practice MSK experience is ideal, but if you have other relevant experience, we’d still love to hear from you! We’ll just ask you to go through a skills-based interview.
- Great communication skills – we want someone who can connect with clients and help them feel at ease.
- A client-focused attitude – our clients' well-being is our top priority!
- The ability to work well with a team, while also being comfortable working independently.
- A willingness to learn from others and share your own knowledge.
Bonus Skills (but not a dealbreaker if you don’t have them!):
- Experience with Shockwave Therapy
- Injection therapy or other advanced techniques
- Yoga or Pilates instructor certification
- Experience working with private-paying clients
