Key Responsibilities

• Perform all engineering calculations for structural and architectural metalwork, including:
• Base plate design
• Balustrades
• Steel connections
• Stair railings and structures
• Beam deflection
• Lead the planning and execution of engineering projects.
• Ensure compliance with UK building regulations, Eurocodes, and client requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to clients and stakeholders.
• Attend client and stakeholder meetings to present engineering solutions.
• Innovate and enhance engineering processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Take full ownership of your workload, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in structural steel and architectural metalwork engineering.
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations and Eurocodes.
• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software tools.
