As a Student Services Officer (SSO), you will play a crucial role in the administration of key aspects of the student life cycle. This is a multi-faceted role aimed at ensuring that the College’s systems work to enable students to access the support they need. It includes providing strong administrative support to teams within student services such as for safeguarding and additional learning support alongside leading on student enrichment activities to enhance the student experience. Your organisational skills will help orchestrate registration processes, maintain accurate student records and keep the college’s front office looking professional and welcoming. Hours of Work: Full-time, permanent position
Salary: £23,750 to £27,450 per annum
Student Services Officer (SSO) Requirements:

• A Level or equivalent qualification, with a preference for additional mental health or first aid qualifications.
• Previous work experience in an administrative or customer service role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on supporting diverse stakeholder needs.
• Proven ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail when handling student data and records.
• A proactive attitude with a strong commitment to teamwork and continuous self-improvement.
