Team Leader/Supervisor

Being a Part-Time Team Leader is about acting as a role model by leading and supervising carers day-to-day, working alongside them and completing regular staff supervisions and appraisals.
It’s also about taking responsibility for case managing residents and liaising with families, health care professional and other stakeholders to ensure that the best care plans are created and delivered.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
The role will involve care monitoring, medication audits, handling complaints, updating care plans, service users feedback and Care Assessments.
-Monitoring housing related support, managing shopping lists, ordering medications, managing client's appointments, ensuring finances are up to date and correct.
-Carrying out appraisals, regular staff supervision, induction, investigations, disciplinary and grievances handling.
-Implement and devise individualized care plans and support goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Escorting residents to GP appointments, shopping trips and to leisure activities.
Requirements:
-Preferably the applicant should have a minimum relevant care qualification, such as NVQ Level 3, QCF, or equivalent and the ability to demonstrate an excellent leadership skill.
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a similar care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (not required but preferred)
