Here at The Turnpike Garage, we have been repairing and servicing vehicles for over 60 years. After extensive redevelopment, we now operate as a fast fit centre and a position has been created due to our increased workload. The successful candidate(s) will work with us as we continue to grow.

Requirements
- At least two years previous experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Qualified vehicle technician
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Able to communicate confidently with both customers and colleagues alike
- Qualified MOT Tester preferred, but not essential
Job Role
- Carry out servicing to all vehicle makes and models
- Tyre replacement and puncture repairs
- Wheel alignment
- Carry out repairs to brakes, suspension and exhaust systems
- Carry out Air Conditioning servicing and repairs
- Carry out basic diagnostic work
- Carry out MOT Testing (if you are a qualified tester)
- Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:30 and every other Saturday 08:30 – 13:00
Located on the outskirts of Melksham, with close access to public transport links, we are a small, friendly team working within a purpose-built workshop using well maintained equipment.
We are proud to a Castrol Certified Workshop and Approved by Trading Standards; this means that we work to a high standard on a range of vehicles from small cars to light commercial vehicles and 4x4s.
