Overview:
This newly created role is looking for an enthusiastic person to take direction from the workshop team in assisting with general tasks and who will not be phased by working within a busy workshop around vehicles.
This is a Monday to Friday role 40 hours a week - 08.00 to 16.30 with a 30 min lunchbreak. Any overtime is paid at time and a half.
Based predominantly at the Van Centre in Hobart Way, Tipton and some requirements to assist the main dealership workshop in Power Way Tipton. A driving licence is required.
Pay: above the National Living Wage dependent on age, from 18 years at £9.00 pr hr to 21 +years at £12.00 pr hr
Main duties:

• cleaning,
• vehicle valeting,
• organising parts
• some basic mechanical tasks
• taking direction from the manager Ensure that the workshop facilities, equipment and tools are kept clean, tidy and maintained, reflecting the Renault Truck Dealership image of an efficient and modern retail Dealerpoint.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when appropriate.
• Undertake any E learnings applicable and set by your manager

• Have a mechanical background, either through experience or study
• Have an interest in commercials vehicles
• Possess basic knowledge of Word, Excel & Outlook applications & general computer literacy.
• Possess a basic working knowledge of Vehicle Technology

A full UK driving licence is required.
