James Technical Services Ltd based in Talgarth are expanding and looking for an Electrical Technician with electrical panel building to join their talented team.
Overview

• To work as part of the workshop team to help ensure timely and high-quality production, factory maintenance, production Health & Safety and stock control.
• This may include service and installation work on site as well as workshop duties.

Key Tasks - Production

• Building electrical systems in accordance with build schematics
• Assisting with erection of walk in rooms and site installations
• Building mechanical systems in accordance with build schematics
• Assembly of prefabricated metalwork – including spot welding and tig welding
• General fitting in accordance to build instructions
• Fabrication of brackets etc for both refrigeration, electrical and humidity systems
• Construction of packing crates and safe packing of finished chambers
• Assisting with keeping the workshop environment, clean and tidy, ensuring a safe working area
• Assisting with receiving and booking in deliveries
• Other duties required to maintain production targets, ensure build quality and to assist with the general running of the business

• In addition to the many day-to-day duties, from time to time, on a temporary or permanent basis, you may be required to undertake additional duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business.

Note: The company will support any training deemed necessary to support you in this role.

Qualifications – General workshop skills with knowledge of electrical panel building
Salary – to be agreed dependent on experience
Hours – 40 hours Monday – Thursday 8am till 5pm / Friday 8am till 2pm
